The Dance
The following canvassed works are part of an ongoing series that began in 2012 with the creation of The Point Between and Fallen Angel.
This body of work relates to a specific process that involves a combination of being submerged in the moment and stepping back to watch what is unfolding. I refer to it as The Dance because that is what it feels like: a dance between colour, breathing, control and surrender.
This process informed the more recent series Inner Scapes, and has been the basis for more figurative works including Inana's Birth and Mother Mountain.
